Happy Thanksgiving

Schenectady Greenmarket has everything you need for your Thanksgiving celebration. What’s Fresh This Week

Maynard Farm: 12 varieties of apples; 3 kinds of pears; white, yellow, blue, and sweet potatoes; cauilflower, broccolli,  Brussels sprouts, and celery root; dino and curly kale, collards, five-color Swiss chard, and two types of beets.

Quincy Farm will make you the star of Thanksgiving with our best-ever sweet potatoes and carrots!  We’ll also have Brussels sprouts, cabbage, beets, leeks, and oodles of squash; plus more leafy greens than you can shake a stick at!

Hope Valley Farm: arugula, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, beets, and turnips with edible tops; broccoli raab, winterborn and Tuscany kale, red and green lettuce, radicchio, and tomatoes. We’ll also have red, kennebec, and Russian fingering potatoes; sweet red or yellow onions, 4 varieties of garlic, and our pickled garlic scapes.  All Certified Naturally Grown.

Merry Hill Farm: There is still time to knit or crochet that special holiday gift. Knitting kits available for hats and scarves; hand dyed and natural color alpaca yarn; alpaca roving for spinning and crafts; felted hats and bags; hand knit alpaca accessories.  Order custom knits now for the holidays.

Mariaville Farm will have pasture raised Black Angus, freshly frozen heritage chickens (Barred Rocks breed) and also cornish cross chickens whole and parts. Pork, lamb and duck.

Pixies Preserves: We will have our sampler packs and gift boxes available this weekend.

Our Daily Eats: Think of ODE for all your holiday gifting needs: nuts, seeds, and granola make great party gifts, stocking stuffers, and office presents. We offer individual bags or gift boxes in an assortment of sizes. Made with care in the Hudson Valley!

Saratoga Peanut Butter Company: Our delicious gingerbread peanut butter blend “Catch Me If You Can” is back again! Makes a great holiday gift.

Freddy’s Rockin’ Hummus will be bringing all of our fantastic hummus flavors to the market this weekend!  We can’t wait to see you – come visit us and taste what you’ve been missing!

Chick and Hen Baking Co. Fresh eggs this week by the dozen. Seafood bisque, greens and beans, sundried tomato and chevre quiche by the slice, empanadas with our harissa sauce, and spinach and feta pie. On the sweeter side we’ll have pumpkin roll, pear almond cream tart by the slice, apple strudels, and eclairs for breakfast.

3 Chicks and a P: Two new flavors this week – white bean dip made with fresh basil and sundried tomato pesto and lemony Greek herb! Pick up all your favorite hummus, bean dips, and salsa for your Thanksgiving table. From our family to yours – Happy Thanksgiving!

Skinner’s Sugarbush: Thanksgiving scones, pumpkin apple bars, caramel apple, carrot, and German chocolate mini cakes (chocolate peanut butter, orange pineapple, cherry chocolate chunk); lemon shortbread, ginger cookies, and much more will delight you. Our syrup is waiting to smother your pancakes and waffles! Maple glazed ham is the best. Ask us for the recipe!

Taj Mahal Restaurant: Vegetable Samosa, vegetable pattie, and curry chicken.

Earthly Remedies by Erin: Deodorant and dryer balls available. Natural, chemical-free body, home, and pet care products make great Christmas presents.
