Our vendors are from within a 100-mile radius of our downtown Schenectady locations and they produce all that is sold at the market. What’s Fresh This Week
Hope Valley Farm: Flavorful tomatoes, pickled garlic scapes, kohlrabi, five varieties of garlic, red Russian fingerlings, new potatoes, arugula, beets, zucchini, Tuscany kale, winterbor kale, broccoli, red Russian kale. Plus potted plants, herbs, and perennials.
Shushan Valley Hydro Farm: Cherry tomatoes, juicy beefsteak, and vine cluster tomatoes; lettuce, arugula, basil, cilantro, dill, parsley, oregano, thyme, mint, and rosemary.
Mariaville Farm: Choose from our large selection of Black Angus steaks, and some fresh shiitake and oyster mushrooms to go with them! Our delicious no-nitrate bacon, fresh pasture-raised duck and chicken.
Susie’s Climax Creations: Fresh young chicken; duck, chicken and quail eggs. Many flavors of jam: raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, rhubarb, strawberry-rhubarb, gooseberry, and cherry; marinated mushrooms, pickled quail eggs, bread and butter pickles, dill pickles.
Skinner’s Sugarbush: Delicious coconut pecan shortbread, raspberry currant pielets, chocolate mint and pineapple zucchini mini cakes, dark chocolate cherry cookies, and lemon and lime shortbread; plus our maple syrup – great on ice cream or mixed with Greek yogurt!
Cafe NOLA: Honeydew Bisque.
Sistahs Vintage Aprons will be rockin’ in the market with two new apron introductions: the Pauline 1966 and the Gilda Roshenko 1930s. Come shop our sumptuously smart full-coverage aprons.
Dutch Desserts: European-style fruit tarts made with local fruit, plus our famous fudgy chocolate tart with Belgian chocolate. Stop by for a sample!
Funk Farms: Blueberry, peach, and nectarine fruit pies – made with fresh local produce and hand-rolled crusts. Refreshing lemonade cookies – a summery twist on our traditional black and white cookie line; cool mint grasshopper fudge cups.
Three Chicks and a P: New this week: garden chives and shallot hummus; also new peach and black bean salsa made with delicious peaches from Maynard Farms!
